Save the Date for Spring Banquet Fundraiser
Our banquet date and location has been set.
Save the date March 11, 2017
It will be held at NW Events & Environments in Hillsboro, it's a great location with a beautiful stage, sound system, projection equipment, etc so we can host a fantastic event.
We are starting to collect items for it so if you have any donations or want to help plan - let us know.

July 16th Target Area Cleanup Project
The annual clean up in the Tillamook Forest will be picking up debris left by target
shooters. ODF had to move the location from Brown's Camp due to an active logging operation. The new location will be at Camp Five.
Please meet at 8:30am on July 16, 2016 at Salmonberry Road and Hwy 26. You won't find the location on Google Maps - it is about .5 miles past the Viewpoint, the first road on your left.

Please bring gloves, rakes, and flat shovels.
A BBQ lunch will be
provided and prizes including a gun.

Fire Season:
We will be in fire season / regulated use by then so every vehicle entering the forest needs:
· Shovel with an 8 inch blade and at least 26 inches long from tip of blade to tip of handle
· 1 gallon of water or a 2.5lb fire extinguisher

Odds on Winning
The 33rd
Annual Oregon Hunters Association Tualatin Valley Chapter fund raiser is being held
April 30th 2016, at the Washington County Fair Complex. Doors open at 5:00pm.
There are so many items planned that nearly everyone attending will be winners. Already, everyone in attendance will find free parking. Just by buying a dinner, you will be entered to win one of four door prizes and odds of winning are 1/250. We have so many activities and prizes, you will surely find something fun to do and help us continue to fund our Chapters’ mission.
Do you like roulette? Then the Chicken
Squat game just might be the game for you, and it also allows the winner to
share the pot with the chapter. One of our most popular games is Plinko. The first prize for Plinko is a $100 gift card
from Hillsboro Motor Sports. There are 14 other prizes and the odds cannot be determined
until we know how many tickets are sold.
We have two cash prize card games, with the 50/50 card game the odds in winning are
1/208 with over $300 cash prize. The Winners
Choice card game is a 2 deck card draw game. Odds in winning 1/104 and the
winner can choose any prize in the house, with the exception of the key rifle,
keyed items or hunting/fishing trips.
New this year, we have two shotgun shell games. The Green Shotgun Shell game has a winner take all prize of over $700
worth of Turkey hunting gear including a shotgun. Odds in winning are 1/400. The Red Shotgun Shell game also has some
great prizes and you have a 1/170 odds in winning.
You can buy a rose and receive a ticket for the Rose Pistol raffle. There are 72
beautiful roses available so the odds in winning are 1/72.
The Bucket Raffle
has well over thirty prizes of which four are guns. There are many are multi
item prizes, and each has its own bucket and a winning ticket will be drawn
from each bucket. Odds in winning for each bucket might be 1/200.
There are nearly 50 items for you to bid on in our Silent Auction, we have a little
something for everyone from art, a dog grooming gift certificate to great
outdoor gear . Then our Live Auction
has over 20 items. We have some great items for you this year, for instance a Guided
Canadian Moose hunt, 7 days for 2 people. Glider rides, fantastic hunting &
fishing trips, Spotting scope, mesmerizing artwork from local artists and some
wine packages from our award winning local vineyards.
The odds are high that you can win something but only if you
attend.
We ask for preregistration in order to coordinate with the Caterer,
please register as soon as you can. Dave Dalton will begin serving dinner at
6:30pm.

May 7th Work Party is at Barney Reservoir
This forest habitat enhancement project is the beautification of Barney Reservoir as well as providing habitat for wildlife by clearing out the scotch broom and seeding the meadow with grass.
We will meet at 8:30am on Saturday, May 7th at Menefee Park
Directions to Menefee Park;
In the town of Yamhill, from the corner of Pike Road and Highway 47, travel west on Pike Road (which becomes Turner Creek Road) for 7.5 miles. Menefee Park is on the left side of Turner Creek Road.
We will be using loppers and other hand tools so it’s recommended to bring gloves and long pants to avoid scratches. Lunches, water and other drinks will be furnished by the chapter.

33rd Annual Fundraiser
Wall of Guns
One Wall offered: Collector's Wall, Handgun & Shotgun Wall, and Rifle Wall.
The Wall of Guns raffle will offer one wall with $100 tickets.
Pre-purchased tickets available.(Include $100 per ticket with you dinner package)
All tickets will be drawn from one bucket.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. - Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Raffles/Auction to follow.
To reserve a table in advance please fill out one form (see reverse side) with the
names and addresses of all in the party and indicate which is the party leader.
Table reservations must be completed and paid in advance. (8 people per table)
