Target Shooting Area Clean Up July 22nd

Meet at 8am at the Highway 26 Viewpoint, then travel to Salmonberry Road which is just past it on the left hand side of the highway if you are heading towards Seaside. Then we will hopefully be able to setup the areas we will clean up, lunch will be provided afterwards. Please bring gloves if you can.


Here are directions from the Oregon Zoo out to the View Point on Highway 26 where we are meeting at 8 am on Saturday.

WORK PARTY MAY 13TH




May 13th Work Party is at Barney Reservoir 
This forest habitat enhancement project is the beautification of Barney Reservoir as well as providing habitat for wildlife by clearing out the scotch broom.

We will meet at 8:00am on Saturday, May 13th at Menefee Park
Directions to Menefee Park;
In the town of Yamhill, from the corner of Pike Road and Highway 47, travel west on Pike Road (which becomes Turner Creek Road) for 7.5 miles. Menefee Park is on the left side of Turner Creek Road.



We will be using loppers and other hand tools so it’s recommended to bring gloves and long pants to avoid scratches. Lunches, water and other drinks will be furnished by the chapter. 

Please Call or text Tony Kind at 503-290-6143 to let him know you will be going so we make sure to have enough provisions. There will be a raffle for those that attend.

Volunteers Needed for Redmond Chapter OHA Habitat Project

http://mitchelloregon.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/wheDA0039_SMALL.jpgVolunteers are needed for Redmond’s Annual Bridge Creek/Priest Hole Habitat Enhancement Project is set for April, 28, 29, 30, 2017 on BLM lands near the town of Mitchell, Gateway to the Painted Hills, which is approximately 1 hour East of Central Oregon.
They will be planting 5000 shrubs along with seeding 40 acres of wildlife crop land. They will be using augers for the holes, just need plenty of volunteers coming behind with the plants/shrubs and filling in the dirt. It’s not too hard of work but there will be a lot of up and down work.
Some meals and project T-shirts will be provided. Water will be provided so RSVP by Tuesday April 25th is important for the counts food - breakfast will be provided Friday through Sunday; this is a top notch catered meal. You are welcome to come over early but you will need to provide your own food and water until April 28th.

March 11, 2017 Fundraiser

This year we are having a Wall of Guns for Youth 17 and under with 5 choices of firearms.

The main Wall of Guns has an all new 18 Gun selection with lots of different calibers and styles.

We have  a Ladies Raffle, Silent Auction, Gun Raffle, Live Auction, Key Raffle, Veterans in attendance drawing, a Lifetime Member in attendance drawing, not to mention the General Raffle. This years Rose Raffle gun is a beautiful Kimber Rosewood two-tone micro 380 ACP.

We have game! The Rifle Cartridge game has some great Turkey Gear as a prize, Grab Bags have some great items and a chance to win a great scope, Winners Choice will get to pick from auction items with only a few exceptions, we have the all cash 50/50 game where you can win half of the purse.


You won't go home empty handed, everyone in attendance will go home with a 15 ounce Mug.

So come join us, spend some money, hopefully you'll take something home but know it's all for a great cause.
