Volunteers Needed for Redmond Chapter OHA Habitat Project

http://mitchelloregon.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/wheDA0039_SMALL.jpgVolunteers are needed for Redmond’s Annual Bridge Creek/Priest Hole Habitat Enhancement Project is set for April, 28, 29, 30, 2017 on BLM lands near the town of Mitchell, Gateway to the Painted Hills, which is approximately 1 hour East of Central Oregon.
They will be planting 5000 shrubs along with seeding 40 acres of wildlife crop land. They will be using augers for the holes, just need plenty of volunteers coming behind with the plants/shrubs and filling in the dirt. It’s not too hard of work but there will be a lot of up and down work.
Some meals and project T-shirts will be provided. Water will be provided so RSVP by Tuesday April 25th is important for the counts food - breakfast will be provided Friday through Sunday; this is a top notch catered meal. You are welcome to come over early but you will need to provide your own food and water until April 28th.
