May 13th Work Party is at Barney Reservoir
This forest habitat
enhancement project is the beautification of Barney Reservoir as well as
providing habitat for wildlife by clearing out the scotch broom.
We will meet at 8:00am on Saturday, May 13th at Menefee Park
In the town of Yamhill, from the corner of Pike Road and Highway 47, travel west on Pike Road (which becomes Turner Creek Road) for 7.5 miles. Menefee Park is on the left side of Turner Creek Road.
We will be using loppers and other hand tools so it’s recommended to bring gloves and long pants to avoid scratches. Lunches, water and other drinks will be furnished by the chapter.
Please Call or text Tony Kind at 503-290-6143 to let him know you will be going so we make sure to have enough provisions. There will be a raffle for those that attend.
